Upper Deck Ltd (Fairhaven, Massachusetts) sells wholesale to approved retail businesses. This page says, in plain words, what information we keep about you and what we do with it. Our website runs on Shopify.

What we collect

  • Your business and contact details: business name, your name, shipping and billing addresses, phone and email, given when you apply for an account, order, or contact us.
  • Your resale (sales tax) certificate and the state that issued it, given on the account application. We keep it to prove your wholesale status; it is not published anywhere on the site.
  • Account and order information: your login, what you order, your order history, claims you file, and messages you send us.
  • Payment details: the card or check information you give us is used only to charge your order. Card details are handled through our payment processor and our office systems and are never sold or shared for any other purpose.
  • Technical information that Shopify collects automatically when you use the site, such as your device, browser, IP address, and the pages you visit.

What we use it for

  • To approve your wholesale account and keep it in good standing.
  • To take, pack, ship, and bill your orders, and to handle claims and credits.
  • To contact you about your orders, your account, and, if you ask for them, our new items and shows. You can tell us to stop at any time.
  • To keep the site secure and to meet our legal and tax obligations.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Who we share it with

  • Shopify, which hosts the site and processes the information you enter. Shopify's own privacy policy applies to that processing: shopify.com/legal/privacy/customers.
  • Carriers (UPS, FedEx, truck lines) to deliver your order.
  • Our payment processor to charge your order.
  • Our office and accounting systems, which we share with our sister company Moby Dick Specialties (same warehouse, same office).
  • Anyone the law requires us to share it with.

How long we keep it

As long as you have an account with us, and afterwards as long as tax and business records must be kept.

Your choices

  • You can ask to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you by calling or emailing us (below). We may need to confirm who you are first, and we may have to keep records the law requires.

Children

This is a business-to-business site. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this page, the date at the top changes with it.
