Garden Center Gift Program: Weathervanes, Bells, Spinners & Sundials
Updated October 2026
A garden center gift program should lean on outdoor pieces that tie back to what customers are already planting: weathervanes and garden stakes, bells and wind chimes, wind spinners, sundials, bird feeders and plant holders. Upper Deck Ltd, a Fairhaven, Massachusetts wholesaler of garden and vintage-style home décor since 1967, sells these lines to independent garden centers with a $250 order minimum.

Which gift lines belong in a garden center?
- Weathervanes, stakes and separately listed directionals, including Polished Rooster Weathervane Tabletop – Brass and Antique Directionals – Verdigris. Check what is included with each item.
- Bells and wind chimes, including the Yard Bell – Brass and the Bird Wind Chime
- Wind spinners, like the Butterfly Wind Spinner, plus spinner stakes that go straight into a bed
- Sundials, led by the Dragonfly Sundial (Verdigris)
- Bird baths and feeders, such as the Frogs Bird Feeder
How should you split spring and fall sets?
Spring is for the yard: spinners and spinner stakes, sundials, bird feeders, stepping stones and hose and plant holders. Put them near the annuals and vegetable starts, where shoppers are already planning their beds.
Fall moves toward the porch and the gift table: bells, wind chimes, weathervanes, tabletop pieces and our fall, Halloween and Christmas lines. Bells and tabletop vanes work as gifts once planting slows down.
What finishes work outdoors?
Some product titles name a finish; ask us when the finish is not stated. Confirm outdoor suitability and care for the specific item and finish. A rustic appearance does not establish resistance to weather or justify recommending polish. If you are unsure which finish suits a spot, ask us before you order.
How do you display garden gifts?
- Staked: push spinners, stakes and garden vanes into a planted display bed or a sand-filled container so they move in the breeze.
- Hanging: hang chimes and bells from a rack or pergola beam at eye level so customers can ring them.
- Tabletop: group sundials, tabletop vanes and small bells on one table near the register.
Our Displays & Shelving collection carries retail display pieces for the sales floor.
What pairs well with bird feeders and planters?
Set a feeder next to a bird bath, a cardinal or hummingbird plant holder and a bird bell, and the shopper sees a finished corner rather than a single item. The same goes for planters: add a plant stand, a stepping stone and a small garden sign, and the add-on is easy to suggest.
When should a garden center order?
Plan spring lines in winter so they are on your floor before the first warm weekend, then reorder fast movers through the season. Browse our Garden Catalog 2026–27. To review particular items in person, contact us before visiting the Fairhaven showroom or our AmericasMart Atlanta showroom in Building 2, Suite 785.
Frequently asked questions
Do you sell to garden centers?
Yes. Upper Deck Ltd sells wholesale to retailers only, including garden centers and nurseries. Apply once at /pages/register.
What is the minimum order?
$250 per order, after quantity discounts and before shipping, or $75 for showroom pickup. You can mix any of our collections to reach it.
Are garden pieces sold by the pack?
Many are. Pkg. in a name is a fixed pack count, and Min. is the smallest quantity you can order.
How are freight and payment handled?
Freight is the carrier's actual charge, billed when the order ships, with no handling fees; large orders can go by truck. For shipped orders paid by card, the card on file is charged after packing and weighing. Showroom pickup orders are paid at pickup.
Do you carry nautical garden décor?
Our sister company, Moby Dick Specialties, carries nautical weathervanes, brass bells and coastal décor from the same warehouse, and orders from both companies ship together.
